Carlos and Alison will be teaching in Buenos Aires throughout 2017. Carlos and Alison won First Place in the City of Buenos Aires Tango Championship, Senior Category, 2014. For the highest score of all the categories of the competition, they won the Special Prize "Buenos Aires dances in Taiwan" .
Carlos and Alison have performed and taught in numerous International Tango Festivals, including Taipei International Tango Festival, Rio de Janeiro Tango Festival, El Congreso Toronto Tango Argentino Festival, Victoria International Tango Festival, Quebec Tango Festival. They featured in a CBC TV documentary on Dance in Toronto, and a french documentary on dance in South America hosted by Jean-Marc Généreux.
They perform at important Buenos Aires milongas - Club Sunderland, Milonga 10, La Baldosa, Canning, Fruto Dulce, Confiteria Ideal. Carlos and Alison have taught extensively in Buenos Aires - including El Torquato Tasso, La Casa Bicentenario, Tango & Tango and Aires Tangueros, as well as in other cities including Shanghai, Brussels, Montreal, Toronto. Carlos and Alison are mentored by Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte of Esquela Tango Sunderland Club ( Villa Urquiza, Buenos Aires ).
Carlos Boeri was born in the province of Buenos Aires. He studied Law at the University of La Plata. In the 1980's he took his first tango classes at the university. In 2000 he reinitiated his study of tango travelling daily to Buenos Aires to learn from the most prestigious teachers. While on this path he met Alison who would become his wife and dance partner. They have danced together professionally for 8 years.
Alison Murray was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. She received a degree in Performing Arts in England, where she also completed a Masters Degree in Film Direction. In 2004 she took her first tango classes, and in 2005 she went to Buenos Aires to study tango more deeply. Carlos and Alison live between Canada and Argentina.
